Relocating into a new building in 2022 was a major item on the “Wish List” of members of Faith Chapel Evangelistic Ministries for years but it came to past Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022, as the congregation held its first service at 3900 Hubbard Ave N. Robbinsdale, MN, the church’s new home.

Until Sunday, the congregants, most of them immigrants from West Africa, assembled and worshiped for 13 years in a school building at the corner of 69th Ave N and Zane Avenue in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota.

Moments before his sermon Sunday, Faith Chapel pastor, Evangelist John B. Saah, made it known to his congregation that it is God who has blessed them with a new place to worship; as such, he said they should all put hand together and keep it in good condition and functional.

Pastor Saah meanwhile introduced a hardworking couple in the church who he said would manage the huge facility. A general prayer was offered upon the couple with a request for God to guide their work and decisions.

Faith Chapel Evangelistic Ministries has other branches overseas in Liberia. Apart from winning souls for Christ Jesus, this ministry continues to support freedom worldwide as well as the works of African journalists particularly in North America.

In 2018 and 2019, Faith Chapel opened its door, allowing members of the Association of Liberian Journalists in the Americas (ALJA), to worship with them during the group’s international conventions hosted in Minneapolis, MN. ALJA has affiliates in Europe, Asia, Africa, Canada and the U.S.

Current ALJA national president, Mr. Joseph Mason serves as deacon and an administrator for the church while world’s evangelist, John B. Saah is Senior Pastor, assisted by both Shirley Bettaforyen and Victor Barbour, Assistant Pastors.
