U.S.-Gospel concert to offset travel expenses to the Philippines needs help!

Gospel singer-evangelist Bryan Bassett & team set to leave next July

Since his first Gospel mission trip to the Philippines, about a year ago, former Minneapolis based preacher and Gospel singer, Evangelist Bryan Bassett, says he “fell in love with the people” and the “amazing” Calvary Gospel Tabernacle ministry during his visit.

Upon his return to the U.S. the now Florida resident has embarked upon raising funds through friends, affiliate churches, plus humanitarian groups in order to help meet some urgent charitable needs of the church which also operates an orphanage that caters to about 300 children.

A singer himself (a recorded Gospel artist), Pastor Bassett started off recently by trying to help out with little things such as the keyboard: he first raised money to replace the church’s old keyboard and possibly, other sound instruments too. 

Fortunately, over $3,000 was realized for the reference project. 

Touched by the goodwill, the church, Calvary Gospel Tabernacle, with over 93 branches in the Philippines alone, has now invited the US Gospel singer to lead two separate youth conferences next July. Three other pastors in the U.S. are expected to join him for this trip.

At present, Minister Bassett is raising funding in order not only to offset their travel expenses to the Philippines, but to also have his visiting team donate to the church’s own orphanage to help it meet clothing demands for children under its care. 

“I need your help,” stated a plea letter that Rev. Bassett shared with friends and supporters who attended last June 3rd, Sunday’s benefit concert. It closed with this line: “I am looking for 50 people to donate $100.00 or more.”
