Evang. Dagadu’s daughter’s heart-wrenching testimony of her terrifying encounter with snakes outside parents’ home

Genesis 28:15 “I’m with you and will watch over you wherever you go…”

People rarely give testimonies at Rev. Dr. Christian K. Dagadu’s Christian Evangelistic Pentecostal Church (CEPC), located near CEMENCO, Bushrod Island, but whenever they do, such testimonies can leave one spellbound.

And that’s exactly what happened this morning (Sunday, Jan. 25) at the church’s headquarters when The Dagadus’ youngest daughter stood up to narrate her ordeal that took place just days ago after she approached their Congo Town residence.

Like other youths in the church, she had been very active, working during their ongoing annual Gospel crusade, and arriving home quite exhausted. This has been the normal routine for her, and she had no reason of pushing back, but proceed to the gate, to knock or call out the security to open it.

The area around her parents’ Congo Town’s mansion, mainly the gate entrance, is paved and usually dimly lit up. After approaching the fence, she said, she almost rushed to knock at the gate but felt moved by the Holy Spirit to turn on her phone light, which she did.

Rev. Dr. Christian K. Dagadu Sr. stands next to his younger daughter Sunday as she narrates a testimony of her ordeal.

Soon after she took a few steps toward the iron gate, she said, her sight quickly crossed over something that looked strange, and when she paused and carefully checked again, it was a live snake, neatly coiled and waiting just where she would have walked to reach the gate’s handle.

Under the circumstance, Rev. Dagadu’s daughter did exactly what most people would do in a similar situation: she called out for help while she prayed in spirit.

As people started to gather, to locate and kill the serpent, she said, she spotted yet another snake, even bigger than the first one, emerging from the dark sideway. That alone, nearly kept her frozen.

The two creatures, however, she told the congregation, were killed eventually killed and everyone went on to praise the LORD, God!

For people familiar with The Dagadus and their works for the Kingdom of God, it’s no longer news whenever there’s a strange occurrence especially during a CEPC National Gospel Crusade like the present which began Jan. 19. The only question perhaps is, what else could happen?

Notwithstanding, no one in Dr. Dagadu’s congregation has ever reported encountering two serpents in one place at once during their mass national crusades or meetings, since the event began decades ago.

This incident comes as CEPC climaxes its 2026 National Crusade titled: Walking Under an Opened Heaven Crusade which drew international evangelists like Dr. Judy and Dr. Joe Fornara (The Dagadus’ own U.S. mentors) who are the founders of Spiritual Life Church & SLC-Bible College-Seminary in Minnesota.

It can be recalled after CEPC’s 2024 National Crusade kick-off in Sanniquellie, Nimba County, a violent rainstorm (branded the “Devil Storm”) tore up the crusade ground in the eastern side of the city, and destroyed a whole fortune from the church, among them, audio speakers and solar panels.

The worst indeed, came after the crew left Sanniquellie and arrived in Tappita, Nimba; there, another heavy wind blew the first night, downing and slamming a huge mango tree into the guesthouse that hosted team members.

Miraculously, all of the crusaders survived and the meetings too succeeded breaking aged-old demonic strongholds, and thousands of worshippers including one Muslim girl got saved.
