MN: Two women ordained; others given licenses as ministers of the Gospels

Two women were ordained full ministers of the Gospels, Thursday night by Covenant Life Ministerial Organization (CLMO), at its annual ordination and licensing ceremony. They are Evangelists Tina Nyemah and Cathleen Saner.

Pastor Tina Nyemah now operates a local church named Power of Faith Ministry International while Evangelist Cathleen Saner resides in Nebraska and runs her ministry there.

Another group of five evangelists-almost all of whom are current or former students of Spiritual Life Bible College received licenses as ministers during at Thursday night ceremony. These included: Dena Cade, Keisha Clark, Cordelia Ye Garyeazon, Lucy Watiri Kingori, Thomas Mason and Shoua Yang.

One person, Annie Tukluah Gailah, received a Christian Worker’s Paper, while Latrice Tsibue and Kathleen Stewart were presented licenses for Chaplain, in addition to Sarah Kendema and Annie Wennie who also received certification to serve as chaplains in the state of Minnesota.

CLMO is a branch of Spiritual Life Church and has a membership of over 550 ministers worldwide, according to Dr. Judy Fornara, senior pastor and founder of SLC. Pastor Gordon Peterson, a senior SLC pastor, is executive director for CLMO. He’s assisted by his wife, Pastor Nancy Peterson.

Pastor Gordon Peterson served as keynote speaker, describing the Christian workers as “individuals that will fulfill the spiritual needs of the Lord.” Pastor Peterson used texts from the Gospels of Acts 8:26-40 as well as Luke, among others during his sermon.

Present at the occasion were Spiritual Life Church’s senior pastors Dr. Joe Fornara, CLMO’s vice president; and Dr. Judy Fornara, CLMO’s president.
