Sis. Martha & Bro. Richard are now married!
At a recent church meeting on church growth in Robbinsdale, MN, Rev. Dr. Francis Tabla informed the audience that his wife has been fasting and praying for Christians to get married. God seems to have answered her prayer. “Now, I have seven weddings to do in just within a month,” said Dr. Tabla, who pastors the mega Ebenezer Community Church here. Certainly, the August 6, 2022, holy matrimony between Bro. Richard B. Foley and Sis. Martha Sawo Watson may have formed part of those referenced weddings. Theirs was indeed dazzling! Ten bridesmaids total, plus a Maid of Honor, Mot. Nataline Soko. Groomsmen equally numbered ten including Best Man Rev. Nathan Seward. There were even Junior Bridesmaids and Junior Groomsmen standing in the wedding. Ms. Angel Tokpa served as Flower Girl, and Mr. Javine J. Gwesine as ring bearer. About five pastors including Rev. Dr. Francis O.S. Tabla, Sr, officiated the ceremony which occured at the Ebenezer Community Church, 9200 W. Broadway Ave, Brooklyn Park, MN. The bride is the daughter of Ms. Sangai Fatu Kamara and Mr. Karmo Garwolo Watson (both deceased), while the groom’s parents are Mrs. Caine G. Foley and M. Hilary R. Foley (also deceased). The bride, Sis. Martha, is originally from Lofa County, Liberia, and currently studies for an AA in Biblical Theology at Spiritual Life Bible College/Seminary in Minnesota. Wedding reception was hosted at Shoreview Community Center in Shoreview, MN, followed by a BBQ party August 7, at Crooked Lake Park & Beach, Coon Rapids, MN; text & photographs by James Kokulo Fasuekoi.
