Is America the best country in the world? Let’s find out!

Prophetess Judy Fornara has traveled to more than 120 nations of the world-as of the time of this writing-preaching the Gospel, during which she witnessed the worst in human sufferings; whether it was a drought in Mozambique, leaving countless dead; a rioting in Egypt, where she’s arrested by state’s agents for preaching in the “Name Of Jesus Christ,” but later released, or just plain streets gun battle between rival rebel factions in Monrovia, Liberia, prompting her evacuation to the nearby US Embassy. In all, she concludes “America is the best country in the world” as Global Ekklesia reports.

For Prophetess Dr. Judy Fornara, one could argue about the validity of certain claims in this world but then there are others in her belief that you can’t, at least not one on which her mind is already fixed such as America’s own standing in the world particularly with respect to the freedom and happiness enjoyed by its citizens.

America, she insists, is the place where freedom reigns and a place to live, especially for people seeking peace and gladness. Though Dr. Judy voiced this before, she boldly reiterated it Sunday before her congregation, noting, “this [America] is the best country in the whole world” as she called on everyone to give thanks to our soldiers who continue to sacrifice for the freedom everyone enjoys. 

She maintained that Americans ought to cherish the good life and freedom they have, and added that: “Tanks are not rolling in the streets of America like in other nations,” apparently, a reference to President Putin’s Russia, where a state’s sponsored private military group known as Wagner, mutinied recently.

Judy’s statement stemmed from her personal experiences as a world evangelist, having traveled in 121 countries in the world, including conflict zones such as Liberia during its civil wars, and Mozambique, where she witnessed some of the worst human conditions like famine and starvations that left many dead.

“In some countries, there are no medications and people die of hunger. But here in the US, there is food all around. If you go to hospital and have no money, they will take care of you,” she told the audience.

However, in many other places, that may not be the case, she pointed out. For in such places, if you have no money to pay for hospital fees in the event of illness, she said, you or your loved ones may die. 

Dr. Judy, founder of Spiritual Life Church/Bible College & Seminary, with branches in Liberia, West Africa, cited Liberia as an example of such misfortune which she thinks Americans should consider and learn to appreciate the blessings of their own nation.  

She told the congregation of how she had picked up a sick woman in the street of Monrovia and taken her to a hospital in order to get her treatment because she had no money.

In yet another episode, she explained she gave $10.00 to a lady so she could take her sick child to the hospital for treatment because doctors won’t treat the child without money.

Over the years in Liberia, it has become commonplace to see a woman who had given birth, leave the maternity wall and go home without her child in lieu of the hospital bills.

In some cases, Americans visiting the country have had to stand in for some of the mothers and families, thereby paying the debts they owed so they could take their newborn home.

The Holy Bible commands Christ’s followers to do the following in Proverbs 3:27 “Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act.”   

Judy’s first church mission to the West African nation occurred in 1992-93, taking her team to the frontlines of Liberia, where they shared the Word of God with rebel fighters with the belligerent NPFL faction of warlord Charles Taylor.

It’s not only Dr. Judy who holds such a beautiful view of America. World’s evangelist and overseer of Faith Chapel Evangelistic Ministries, Robbinsdale, MN, Pastor John B. Saah, told his congregation with some degree of seriousness last year that he’s ready to pray “death over anyone” (especially immigrant Liberians), who think America isn’t the right place for them.

Evangelist Saah spoke of the US’s greatness as a world power, and said, “even in a place like China, all an American citizen needs to do when he runs into trouble is, show your passport to the police when he arrives and they will rescue you first.”

Once confined to a refugee camp in West Africa for years with his entire family, due to civil wars in his native Liberia, Saah said he can’t trade “America” for anywhere else in terms of the freedom, security and happiness that people enjoy in the United States. 

At Sunday’s worship, Dr. Judy opened the service with the US National Anthem “God Bless America, My Home Sweet Home,” followed by a BBQ and the baptism of church members in the church’s yard, all in honor of U.S. military folks, alive or dead, who sacrificed their lives for this glorious land.
